AI PLAYGROUND

LOST SIGNAL

One of my first experiments in generative AI video, this project explores the limits of image-to-video generation and the creative workflow behind it. Inspired by Arrival, Interstellar, Black Mirror, and Love, Death & Robots, the short leans into a more realistic visual style with a distinctly cinematic tone. Tools used included MidJourney, Topaz Photo & Video AI, Photoshop (Generative Fill), and Minimax AI.

ARI-059

This project brought my character ARI-059, a futuristic cyborg—to life through a techwear/streetwear-inspired editorial shoot. I explored various methods for maintaining character consistency in AI image generation, including MidJourney’s CREF, OpenArt.AI’s Character Creator, and custom Flux LORA training models. While trained models offered more consistent results, multiple generations were still needed to achieve a successful image set. These were then animated using image-to-video AI tools like KLING and Hailuo’s Minimax.

FLIP

The AI Generated Avatar

Exploring new tools for consistent character creation, and trying new art styles straying away from realistic humanoid characters. FLIP was born as a pet companion that helps with everyday tasks - and is there whenever you need them. Characters like FLIP could potentially act as a mascot for brands - being the face in tutorial content, onboarding, or explainer videos. Paired with tools like ElevenLabs, avatars like this can easily be given a voice to add another point of connection with people.
